Chhota Bheem Comics Debut as Green Gold Partners with Publications Division to Strengthen Indian Content Creation for Young Readers

Mumbai, August 12th, 2025: Green Gold Animation, the creator of India’s most iconic children’s character Chhota Bheem, has partnered with the Publications Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, to launch an all – new Chhota Bheem comic series. The launch event was held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in bringing culturally rooted stories to a new generation of readers It also aligns with the Government’s vision to strengthen Indian content creation across books, animation, films, and digital platforms.

The Chhota Bheem comic series draws from Indian traditions, capturing the adventures of Bheem, a brave and kind-hearted boy from the fictional kingdom of Dholakpur, who represents values such as courage, friendship, teamwork, and resilience. Admired by millions of children throughout the nation, Chhota Bheem now takes on a new avatar, making the transition from screens to pages to further extend its cultural impact.

Addressing at the launch, Mr. Rajiv Chilaka, Founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation, said, “The Government of India has been actively promoting Indian content creation in animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics through initiatives like WAVES 2025.
