Adding his comments, Dr. Stephen Grobmyer, Institute Chair, Breast Surgical Oncology Institute, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi said “cancers today are increasingly seen as diseases of the genome. The characterization of genetic and protein abnormalities within a cancer now often determines how cancers are diagnosed and treated. Access to the latest approaches to tumor diagnosis and characterization can have a major impact on how patients are treated and the impact of treatments on patient outcomes.

Some of the topics that were discussed are new approaches to surgical management of breast cancer, evolving landscape of uterine and cervical cancer management, PD-L1 testing in gynecological neoplasms etc.

Defense paving the way for FC Goa this season

Hyderabad, November 22, 2022: FC Goa will not forget Sunday’s clash against ATK Mohun Bagan anytime soon, having stunned the Mariners in a 3-0 win at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda in what could arguably be considered their finest performance till date this season.

Up against a host of big names and former boss Juan Ferrando – the Gaurs stifled the team from Kolkata with the Mariners failing to register even a single shot on target, as the Gaurs added a third clean sheet to their name this campaign.

Usually known for their attacking prowess and flair, the defence is proving to be the bedrock of FC Goa’s success this time around even though headlines continue to elude their efforts. In six matches now, the Men in Orange have conceded just thrice from open play which is the best record among all the teams this season. The three clean sheets further make it their best-ever start to a league campaign in terms of defence.

On Sunday, while Anwar Ali dropped a man-of-the-match-winning performance, Aibanbha Dohling and Fares Arnaout also scored the first two goals to land the decisive blows.

Pena impressed with the team’s defensive commitment

“I’m quite happy with the defensive work rate of our team. The most important factor is that everyone understands how defending depends only on the back four and the goalkeeper,” head coach Carlos Pena said to fcgoa.in.

“Everyone has shown a lot of commitment in defence, which starts from our frontline and also presses well.

“I do not want to comment on individual performances as everyone has done well. I’m happy for our players that contributed to yesterday’s win and also for those who couldn’t get the required minutes, because they’re equally important and we’re one team together,” he further added.

Fares Arnaout: ‘Kyla brings me a lot of joy, my goal was for her

By virtue of nodding home from an Edu Bedia corner-kick against the Mariners in the 76th minute, Fares Arnaout on Sunday became the first-ever Syrian footballer to score a goal in the Hero Indian Super League.

Hailing from the Middle East nation, Arnaout has battled against the ravages of wars in his homeland, language barriers and much more, and has still excelled whenever given the opportunity on the pitch.

The celebration that followed his goal was equally special, with the 25-year-old making a ‘rocking the cradle’ gesture in honour of his daughter, Kyla, who was born just a little over a month ago.

“Ever since she came into my life, I’ve been feeling incredible. I’ve been able to see the positives everywhere, and in many ways, I was able to look at things in a new light,” the centre-back said after the match.

“There’s so much love and joy in our home since she came into our lives and of course these kinds of moments help you to be good on the pitch as well. My goal was dedicated to her, that’s the least I can do.

“The last couple of weeks was a difficult period for me personally, because of my injury. I had waited for a long time to play in front of my team’s fans here at our Fatorda Fortress, but against Jamshedpur FC, I could be on the pitch only for 10 minutes or so. The injury meant that I missed the next match (against Kerala Blasters) as well, which was stressful because I badly wanted to play.

“Coach Pena then advised me to focus on my recovery, and that’s all I have done since. When he informed me that I made the cut for the matchday squad against ATKMB, I was overjoyed. I finally got my chance to make an impact in the second half, and I’m happy with how things panned out,” he went on.

“Now, my focus is on recovery. The majority of the season still remains, and there’s plenty of work left to do. This was just one match, we need to play more games like this,” Fares Arnaout concluded.

AWS Launches Second Infrastructure Region in India

DELHI, INDIA—Nov. 22, 2022—Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com, Inc. company (NASDAQ: AMZN), today announced the launch of its second AWS infrastructure Region in India—the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region. Starting today, developers, startups, entrepreneurs, and enterprises, as well as government, education, and nonprofit organizations, will have greater choice for running their applications and serving end users from data centers located in India. Customers will have access to advanced AWS technologies to drive innovation including data analytics, security, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI). For more information about AWS Global Infrastructure, visit aws.amazon.com/about-aws/global-infrastructure.

“The launch of the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region supports India’s digital transformation and is part of our long-term investment in the country since opening our first office in 2011. Customers and partners in India will now have additional regional infrastructure to deploy applications with greater resilience, availability, and even lower latency,” said Prasad Kalyanaraman, vice president of Infrastructure Services at Amazon Data Services Inc. “We are proud to invest in the future of the Indian technology community and workforce, and we are committed to helping organizations across industries increase agility and drive innovation.”

“As a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s $1 Trillion Digital Economy vision, the ‘India cloud’ is set for big expansion and innovation. Data centres are an important element of the digital ecosystem. The investments by AWS in expanding their data centres in India is a welcome development and would certainly help catalyze India’s digital economy,” said Shri Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. “The Government of India’s upcoming National Cloud and Data Centre Policy envisages a significant increase in India’s capacity from the current 565 MW to over 2565 MW in the near future. We look forward to greener and more sustainable data centres to power India’s expanding economy.”

“We welcome AWS’s commitment to invest approximately INR 36,300 crores in the AWS Region in Hyderabad, which strengthens Telangana’s position as a progressive data center hub in India,” said Shri K. T. Rama Rao, minister for Information Technology (IT), Industries and Commerce, Municipal Administration, and Urban Development at the Government of Telangana. “We recognize the power of cloud computing, which is why we have collaborated with AWS to improve e-governance, healthcare, and municipal operations to benefit the citizens of Telangana. We are pleased that the new AWS Region in Hyderabad will spur more innovation and growth for many enterprises, startups, and public sector organizations in India.”

With the launch of the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region, AWS now has 96 Availability Zones across 30 geographic regions, with announced plans to launch 15 more Availability Zones and five more AWS Regions in Australia, Canada, Israel, New Zealand, and Thailand. AWS Regions are composed of Availability Zones that place infrastructure in separate and distinct geographic locations. The AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region consists of three Availability Zones and joins the existing AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region, which opened in June 2016. Availability Zones are located far enough from each other to support customers’ business continuity, and near enough to provide low latency for high availability applications that use multiple Availability Zones. Each Availability Zone has independent power, cooling, and physical security and is connected through redundant, ultra-low latency networks. AWS customers focused on high availability can design their applications to run in multiple Availability Zones to achieve even greater fault tolerance. The launch of the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region will enable local customers with data residency preferences to store data securely in India, while providing customers with even lower latency across the country.

AWS is planning to invest an estimated $4.4 billion (approx. INR 36,300 crores) in India by 2030 through the new AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region, which includes capital expenditures on the construction of data centers, operational expenses related to ongoing utilities and facility costs, and purchases of goods and services from regional businesses. The investment is also estimated to support an average of more than 48,000 full-time jobs annually at external businesses during this time. These jobs will be part of the AWS supply chain in India, including construction, facility maintenance, engineering, telecommunications, and jobs within the country’s broader economy.
The construction and operation of the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region is also estimated to add approximately $7.6 billion (approx. INR 63,600 crores) to India’s gross domestic product by 2030.

79% of respondents believe Futuristic Technologies will drive growth for BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, and Manufacturing sectors: ASSOCHAM & Primus Partner’s report reveals

22nd November 2022: India’s leading strategy firm with nation-building at its core, Primus Partners, in partnership withASSOCHAM, unveiled the report titled ‘Futuristic Technologies: Is India Ready?’ at the Futuristic Technologies Seminar organized by ASSOCHAM in Kolkata on Friday, in the presence of Shri Randhir Kumar, Secretary, Dept. of IT & Electronics, West Bengal, & Managing Director, WEBEL. The report stated the rising urgency for various stakeholders including state governments to adopt policies that support the inclusion of futuristic technologies as it would be key to creating a gigantic impact on multifarious sectors. As part of the report, Primus Partners and ASSOCHAM conducted a survey where 90% of respondents agree that futuristic technologies will be important for India in the coming times and 79% of respondents believe that the gigantic impact on BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, and Manufacturing sectors will be led by their steadfastness in adopting these technologies and optimizing its usage for sectoral growth.

The report charts a comprehensive analysis and recommendations for integrating government policies and new-age digital technology such as Blockchain, AI/ML, Web 3.0, Cloud, and Metaverse to reimagine strategies for newer experiences and improved ways of conducting business. The day-to-day impact of adopting these new-age technologies will be an absolute game changer and have an overall positive effect on the mass as 97% of respondents surveyed across India believe that futuristic technologies will make life easier and save time and cost. Moreover, government initiatives like the Smart Cities Mission and Digital India program have immense potential for incorporating IoT goods and services. It further highlights foreseeable challenges such as understanding the technology, cyber-attacks, and internet speed in the country. However, India’s favorable demographics, growing economy, availability of talent, the 5G rollout, a large start-up ecosystem, and smartphone penetration will become powerful tools to combat them and find meaningful solutions for an elevated experience.

Expanding its horizon to other sectors, ASSOCHAM and Primus Partners’ report also highlighted the importance of strategically shifting towards futuristic technologies for the rapidly growing fintech industry given its revolutionary prowess to transform the growth of the country’s GDP. While India currently has more than 6636 fintech start-ups and 21 unicorns, collaborations with banks, insurance firms, and the retail sector will increase their influence and radically transform the Indian banking and financial industries. Moreover, operating through various business models, its impact has trickled down to the e-commerce industry as it continues to bloom further by offering customer-centric offers, ease of use, and availability of personal and commercial transactions globally. To expedite the friendliness of e-commerce platforms, an important step will be to adopt Big Data for incorporating analytics-driven decision-making mechanisms. The statistics highlight the immediate need for drafting a policy framework on the ethics of data for ease of implementation of such technologies in public and private organizations.

Sharing his insights on the report, Devroop Dhar, Managing Director, Primus Partners said, “With more than 450 active start-ups in the Web 3.0 domain, the sector is steadily growing in India. We will need to plan, implement, and employ next-generation technologies such as web computing, artificial intelligence, smart cities, blockchain, and the internet of things to yield the maximum benefit. These technologies will also become an important part of swift and efficient governance. The survey we conducted revealed that 93% of respondents believe in the increasing need for governments to adopt futuristic technologies for citizen service delivery. This process may then be enhanced for a choice-based proactive service delivery model based on family ID. The arrival of 5G will boost India’s adaptability to these technologies given its high bandwidth, low latency, and highly reliable communication system.”

Commenting on the role of consumers and governments driving growth through technological breakthroughs, Perminder Jeet Kaur, Senior Director – East and North East and National Coordinator for the National Task Force on Ayush &  Early Child Education, ASSOCHAM said “We, as consumers, have played a critical role in maximizing the impact of these technologies by adopting technology-led innovations and allowing tech enablers to collect more data for customized and improved experiences. India, today, is well positioned to consolidate its position as a global leader in the era post the fourth industrial revolution owing to one of the world’s youngest labour forces and a significant amount of technical aptitude. With the right combination of regulatory frameworks, India can lead this technological revolution.”

In the last ten years, technology has made incredible advances that are still changing our world. Today, it serves as the foundation for all potential future growth and enables the building of a more inclusive and sustainable society. With more than 50% of India’s population under the age of 27, arises an important task for collaboration between institutions and industries to frame policies that encourage upskilling and training the youth of the country to thrive in these dynamic industries.

Collaboration Between Luke Coutinho and Ashraf Motiwala Introducing a Line of Affirmation Accessories to India.

Mumbai, November 22, 2022:In the journey of life, most of us are seeking perfection. We do this without realizing that even nature is not perfect. And we are products of it, after all. Each one of us has flaws. And only when we start to embrace those flaws and accept our imperfections, we start living our true authentic lives. Not being able to embrace our flaws only creates suffering. Accept you first. Because we are all imperfectly perfect.

This simple thought brought two friends and experts in their respective fields together for the creation of a unique movement, set out to direct your faith toward your vision, and transform your dreams into action.

“In my nine years of practice in integrative and lifestyle medicine, I have learned that while medicine and conventional protocols are necessary, they shouldn’t stop us from believing in what lies beyond medicine. This is where the power of hope, faith, belief, love, peace, and gratitude comes in. You may be on the best medicine or treatment, but if you do not have hope, your journey to healing becomes difficult. This is where I thought that an aesthetically designed jewelry line that carries these powerful words of affirmation can serve as a beautiful reminder. Faith and fear cannot coexist. I hope when you wear this piece of jewelry or pass it on to your loved ones, it adds value to your lives. No matter how hard times can get, never lose hope, faith, and belief in life and all it has in store for you,” said Luke Coutinho, integrative and lifestyle medicine practitioner – Luke Coutinho.

During the journey of discovery, Ashraf chanced upon the universally recognized symbol – Ensō, which became the perfect introduction to the creation of India’s first Affirmation Accessory.

“My team and I searched for the perfect symbol to represent our new signature brand. The Ensō contains the perfect and imperfect; that is why it is always complete. This symbolism resonated for both of us as the circle signifies unity and completion. Perfect balance. But what makes the Ensō more intriguing is that it is not perfect at all. It is rough, messy, and at times not even complete,” said Ashraf Motiwala

Each piece features a pure golden encrusted Ensō created with precious gold and natural diamonds highlighted by enamel and colorful rubber straps. These straps have been imported from international companies that luxury Swiss watch brands source from. This ensures that these accessories can be worn daily while still looking their best.
With these Affirmation Accessories, their intention is to create something that would last with its wearers for a lifetime. It can also be passed down through generations allowing this legacy of positivity to continue forever. Join their movement toward holistic living, with this Affirmation Accessor.
