The grand event was concluded with a Vote of Thanks. The event was organized seamlessly under the able guidance of Prof. Kanagaraj Ayyalusamy & Ms. Anshu Kumari and the entire Conclave Committee.

The Conclave Committee of XLRI Jamshedpur, PGDM (GM) Batch 2024-25 hosted the event ReEnvision 3.0- Digital Transformation Conclave themed around “Data-Driven Transformation in Consumer World” on 27th July 2024. At XLRI’s Re-envision Conclave on Digital Transformation, a distinguished panel of Banking, Technology, Core Engineering, including COOs, Directors, Founders, Digital Heads, Managing Directors, Country Heads and General Managers converged and inspired the cohort by sharing their invaluable insights, exploring India’s Data-Driven digital transformation across the consumer world.

The Conclave started with the Inaugural Address by Fr. S George S.J., Director, XLRI Jamshedpur, Fr. Donald D’Silva, S J, Dean Administration & Finance, XLRI Jamshedpur and Prof. Dr. Sanjay Patro. Fr. S. George addressed the audience and thanked the speakers for taking the time to interact with the students of XLRI PGDM (GM). He inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp & inviting the speakers to initiate an exchange on Digital Transformation through Data, an effective exchange to inspire and transform the student’s mindset. Fr. Donald D’Silva addressed the audience and thanked the speakers for taking the time and committee members involved in organizing the ReEnvision Conclave. Prof Dr. Sanjay Patro thanked the Conclave Committee and others in the organizing team for organizing this ReEnvision 3.0. In his address, he asked the students to contemplate their Digital transforming & Leveraging data ideas. He also advised the students to interact with the panelist to gain insights into the Data-driven Consumer World.

The event moved ahead into the panel discussion themed on the Topic ” Strategic Partnerships and Alliances: Harnessing Digital Tools for Competitive Collaboration” by Mr. Ashish Ranjan, Chief Digital Officer, National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings): Ashish Ranjan stresses the need for strategic partnerships and authentic communication to enhance customer experience and drive mutual benefits. Mr. Girish Dangayach, Chief Digital Officer, SK Finance Limited: Girish Dangayach advocated for building solutions based on a deep understanding of customers’ needs and maintaining trust through consistent engagement. Mr. Ashish Pandey, Global CIO, CDTO, CDIO, Dabur India Limited: Ashish Pandey emphasized the importance of digital collaboration tools to foster meaningful customer relationships and support sustainable growth. Mr. Ramasubramaniam S, Senior Vice President, Collabera Digital: Ramasubramaniam highlighted the significance of continuous improvement and innovation to stay competitive and meet evolving customer demands, as well as to collaborate when the industry demands to improve customer experience. The Panel was moderated by Amith Shaju, a student at XLRI Jamshedpur, PGDM (GM).

The next segment was the panel discussion on the topic – “Data Analytics Contribution to Consumer Goods Industry & E-Commerce”, where our distinguished panelists shared their insights and views over a series of questions. Mr. Satyaki Mookerjee, Chief Digital Officer, CEAT: Satyaki Mookerjee stressed the importance of innovative solutions tailored to meet unique customer needs, mentioned the critical role of technology in transforming traditional business models, and advocated for strategic partnerships to enhance value delivery to customers. Mr. Digvijay Ghosh, Consumer Product & Retail Sector & Digital Commerce- Partner, EY-Parthenon: Digvijay Ghosh highlighted the need for agility in adapting to digital disruptions, spoke about leveraging emerging technologies to stay competitive, and emphasized the importance of continuous learning and skill development in the digital era. Mr. Nitin Dhingra, Chief Digital Officer, Hindware Limited: Nitin Dhingra emphasized the need for continuous customer engagement and feedback loops to refine digital strategies, highlighted the importance of leveraging data analytics for personalized customer experiences, and discussed the role of trust and authenticity in digital partnerships and collaborations. Mr. Ravi Kumar, Chief Digital Officer, Exide Industries Limited: Ravi Kumar discussed the integration of digital tools to enhance operational efficiency, talked about the benefits of strategic acquisitions in driving growth, and focused on the importance of data-driven decision-making for business success. The Panel was moderated by Madhumeta Rajkumar, a student at XLRI Jamshedpur, PGDM (GM).

Post lunch, we went ahead with our third panel Discussion on the topic – “Leveraging Data Analytics for Marketing” by our below esteemed panelists. Mr. Sushil Pradhan, Executive Director & COO, MitKat Advisory: Mr. Pradhan discussed the evolution from physical to digital through live examples, the resulting emergence of in-house data-driven tech teams in organizations, AI intervention for consumer engagement, threat analysis, and the application of AI-ML across various industries. Ms. Ipshita Ghosh, Managing Director, Accenture: Ms. Ghosh discussed life-centric approaches focused on the customer, the role of CDP and predictive analysis in identifying trends, the personalization of recommendations, and the importance of understanding evolving consumer needs and cross-leveraging brand data in marketing strategies. Mr. Vikrant Bhargava, Chief Digital Officer, inMorphis: Mr. Bhargava discussed about how B2B and B2C cycles differ. And how we could use real-time data to gauge various parameters important to customers like behavior, choices, content reading time persona, and other parameters. Mr. Amreesh Kher, Chief Business Officer-Insurance, Tata Digital: Mr. Kher shared his insights on how dynamic the market is. And how the path to a marketing strategy is through a road of an in-depth thought process and discovery. Mr. Sunil Palrecha, Chief Digital Officer, Wissen Technology: Mr. Palrecha from his experience talked about how B2B sales is about trust. He also spoke about Tech con and about the experience of using data along with real experiences. Mr. Bhargab Dutta, Chief Digital Officer, Century Ply: Mr. Dutta talked about how strategy and data can be leveraged and defined the entire market landscape by an illustration of examples. Another important aspect he discussed was how a brand/ company would grow beyond the maturity stage by leveraging that. The Panel was moderated by Preeti Rawat, a student at XLRI Jamshedpur, PGDM (GM).

After such thought-provoking discussions, the winners of the ReEnvision 3.0: The Digital Transformation Case Competition theme: Data-Driven Digital Transformation were announced. The case competition event witnessed an overwhelming response, with an impressive total of 84,788 impressions and 3042 teams registering, truly exemplifying the spirit of innovation and excellence in the realm of digital transformation.
