SentinelOne Funds Scholarships at CLI to Empower Women in Cybersecurity Across Asia Pacific

Online Cybersecurity Program in India

SentinelOne (NYSE:S), a leading autonomous security platform, is delighted to announce the official launch of an initiative to empower and support aspiring women cyber leaders in developing countries and disadvantaged communities in the Asia Pacific region. As a first action in this groundbreaking initiative, SentinelOne will fund scholarships at the Cyber Leadership Institute (CLI).

The scholarships, to be unveiled during the SentinelOne 2023 Partner Summit on August 23, 2023, encompass an intensive 8-week online course that participants can undertake at their own pace. Upon completion of the program, attendees will receive a certificate of attainment. Scholarship applicants must be female cybersecurity professionals with a minimum of two years’ work experience at the management level or above.

Applications for the scholarships will be open from August 22 to September 15. A panel of judges from CLI and SentinelOne will carefully review the applications, and the successful candidates will be announced on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 9 am SGT.

“We are thrilled with this initiative with SentinelOne. It is a testament to our commitment to accelerating the development of the next generation of visionary cyber leaders in APAC and closing the gender diversity gap in our industry,” commented Phil Zongo, CLI’s CEO, and Co-Founder.

SentinelOne is focused on developing tomorrow’s cybersecurity leaders, today, and creating diverse, inclusive environments in which they can be and do their best work.

“We firmly believe in being a force for good, and this initiative allows us to contribute to a more secure future while uplifting less fortunate communities and promoting gender diversity in the cybersecurity field,” shared Liz Drysdale, Marketing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan at SentinelOne.

Interested applicants can learn more about the scholarship opportunities and how to apply by visiting CLI’s application page.
