Ms. Aakanksha Kaur is the Founder and Principal of the renowned playschool, Little Bright Stars in Kolkata which is an educational initiative of JIS Group
Kolkata, 31 March 2022: The Founder and Principal of a renowned playschool in Kolkata Little Bright Stars (an educational initiative of JIS Group) Ms. Aakanksha Kaur has been awarded under the young entrepreneur category at the 17th Tumi Annanya Awards 2022. Tumi Annanya Awards is a unique award being organised for the last 17 years, awarding the women and men who are the biggest inspirations in the scope of empowerment, for decades. This program is organised by Beyond Dreams and supported by the Lions club of Rabindra Sarovar, Lions Clubs International, District 322B2. A few of the recipients over the years are Shabana Azmi, AparnaSen, Mousumi Chatterjee, Savitri Chattopadhyay, Late Girija Devi, Ms.ShatabdiRoy, MP, Ms.Rachna Banerjee, Usha Uthup, Tanusree Shankar, Koel Mallick, JayaAshan, Ms. Nusrat Jahan, Ms. Mimi Chakraborty, Ms. Nandita Roy, Dona Ganguly, Subhashree Ganguly, etc.
Under the umbrella of her able leadership, the school has won the “Gurukul Award” for the best upcoming playschool. Ms. Kaur consistently puts in efforts to provide a conducive environment to nurture the academic, social, intellectual, and emotional skills of preschoolers. She has worked for several years as a teacher in renowned schools in the early stage of her career.
