Apeejay School Noida organises a mega marathon titled Runathon 2023
Apeejay School Noida recently organized Runathon 2023, on November 19, 2023 (Sunday), to commemorate the 104th Birth Anniversary of Dr Stya Paul – the inspiration behind all Apeejay Education institutions, whose legacy is being carried forward by his daughter, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education.
Around 1,000 enthusiastic participants, both males and females, across various categories based on distance and age, made it a vibrant event. To pep up the runners in the cold and windy Sunday morning, a Zumba session with the participants was presented, which not only charged up the atmosphere but also set the tone for an action-packed day ahead.
Mr. Manish Kumar Verma (IAS), District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar was the Chief Guest. While giving away the medals & awards to the winners, he not only congratulated them but also appreciated all the participants and said that he was energized by the enthusiasm level of the participants. He appreciated the way in which the school authorities meticulously conducted the whole event placing it at par with a professional sporting event. Major General Vikram Dogra, popularly known as ‘Iron Man, flagged off the event.
