Aster RV Hospital Successfully Completes over 300 CSR Camps during FY24-25
Bangalore, 28April 2025: Aster RV Hospital and Aster Volunteers have successfully completed 312 camps during FY 24-25. Through various outreach camps and medical camps, Aster RV Hospital reached out to 33,150 people in and around Bangalore, remaining steadfast in their mission to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible to all.
Free medical camps were one of the key focus areas, organized at community centres such as public parks and apartment complexes. Routine checkups and primary healthcare were made available at these camps.
With a focus on children’s health equity, camps were conducted at blind schools, with specialized medical and wellness support catering to the students’ needs. To address the gap in medical access for children in remote areas, the organization also reached out to schools in tribal areas, conducting a health camp in Chudanahalli village. In addition, a series of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Active Bleeding Control sessions were conducted in schools, colleges, and workplaces to build basic emergency response skills among the public.
The spirit of giving extended to the corporate world, with Tata Realty & L&T collaborating with the organization for a blood drive to drive corporate social participation and encourage a collective responsibility towards emergency healthcare needs. A separate “Kindness Drive” was also conducted to extend support to destitute homes through the distribution of medical aid, clothing, and food.
