Mumbai, 16 June 2022: Alright, the premium entertainment vertical of Rusk Media, recently released a Father’s Day campaign video, “Match Date With Dad”, in collaboration with Lifelong Online, an Indian innovative appliances solution provider. The heart-warming video is an ode father-son relationship in the modern world, where today’s generation finds it difficult to spend time with their parents.
Directed by Sumit Kumar and written by Shivam Sharma, “Match Date With Dad” follows the story of Shikhar, played by Vidyut Jamwal’s “Khuda Hafiz: Chapter II” fame, Ritik Ghanshani and actor Lokesh Mittal. Following a close parallel to a cricket match, in the first innings of the match we see, Shikhar is finding it difficult to give time to his father, who has travelled from out of station to stay with him. As the story progresses, Shikhar eventually realizes what he is missing out on and proceeds with spending quality time with his father in the second innings of the match.
Capturing the essence of a son’s bond with his father, “Match Date With Dad” also reiterates the fact that though we are absorbed in our work routine we must not miss the precious moments of spending quality time with our parents. The episode also allows relatable avenues for brand to connect with their target audience.
