The Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur welcomed its 10th batch of the Executive MBA programme to the Dehradun campus on Saturday, 16th July.
Dr. Kulbhushan Balooni, Director IIM Kashipur was the chief guest at the event which was presided by Prof. Vaibhav Bhamoriya Assistant Dean (Development). Esteemed faculty members, staff, and students of the incoming cohort of EMBA 2022-24 were present.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Balooni emphasized the importance of contemplating how best we can contribute to our society, and advised that as an academic institute it can done by building the strong culture of present institution.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Rahul Kamble, chairperson of EMBA encouraged students to think outside of the box, and learn from each other’s experiences as it would help them grow personally, academically, and professionally. He shared various experiences from his own life journey, and said ‘Change’ is the only constant in this everchanging dynamic world. Therefore, it is crucial to keep learning and adapting as per your surroundings.
The new batch comprises 40 students from all around the country having professional experience from leading industry backgrounds with an average work experience of 7-8 years. Diversity brings a different perspective and learning to the table and enhances the knowledge grounds for everyone.
