“Rajaram Consumer Care is a new entrant in the homecare segment which was born to cater to the consumer demand for quality homecare products at affordable prices. With the renewed focus on Health & Hygiene and the need to keep our homes and surroundings clean, consumers are now looking at products that are best-in-class but at the same time cost efficient for regular use. Before launching our products, we conducted an in-depth market and consumer behaviour research to understand what consumers are looking at before making purchase decisions of homecare products.
The pandemic era has been a challenging year for everyone. However, the focus on home hygiene added to restrictions on movement and social interactions that followed the COVID-19 outbreak has presented homecare brands with new opportunities to engage with consumers. Our research revealed that homecare brands now have the chance to play a far more influential role in consumers’ lives. we have also identified need gaps and have created unique products that solve these consumer needs.
Within a month of the launch of our products, we have seen good demand from across India through our General Trade, Modern trade as well as e-commerce presence and have also got some very encouraging and positive feedback from distributors. We expect a continuous demand for home care products like disinfectants, kitchen cleaners and bathroom cleaners. We particularly are excited about the dust settling technology in our surface cleaner – Quanta, which have seen great consumer interest. We have taken up multiple initiatives to tap the potential of the new age channels such as e-commerce along with local stores, chemists and pharmacy stores that have emerged as important touchpoints for consumers buying FMCG products, in the new normal. We look forward to see success in our endeavours in the coming year.”
