“Digital registry is key for continuity of care and to understanding patient medical history and treatment protocols followed at various times of the treatment process. This would take away the dependence on patients to keep their medical records in papers with them and the dependence on them for future treatment. The government should also take steps to integrate private health providers into a uniform medical record system so the medical data from various providers can come into one consolidated platform. This would revolutionize the entire health delivery in the entire nation.
Also, mental health has definitely become a thing of concern post-pandemic world. It is commendable that the government is highlighting the importance of mental health and trying to reach the people of India through telemedicine. But implementation of all these programs is to be looked into and as citizens of this country, we need to follow the activities that the government performs to implement these plans.”
