Pratech Brands launches Tesora: exclusive brand for home appliances and cookware

Pratech Brands has launched itsexclusive Home Vertical—Tesora, a comprehensive online store for modern home appliances and chic cookware. A perfect blend of simplicity, reliability, elegance and style, Tesora offers aesthetically designed, easy to use appliances with focus on convenience and functionality. Pratech Brands, a Sequoia backed digital-first retailer for Health & Home, is founded by Ex-Nykaa CFO Sachin Parikh, along with Anvi Shah and Neehar Modi (ex Amazon and Unilever). The company recently raised USD 3M led by Sequoia India’s Surge.
Tesora’s core philosophy is to design aesthetic yet quality appliances backed by innovations and technology in economical price range for new-age Indian consumers. Tesora is building a noteworthy range for products in three key categories—small home and kitchen appliances such as Hand blender, kettle, air fryer and able range of cookware.
At present, three exclusive Tesora products have been launched including ‘Air Oven’— a super fast alternativefor the conventional OTG with Air frying technology. Air oven with its best in class technology enables fast and even cooking with almost no oil. Air fryer – a large sized fryer to host yummy yet healthy gatherings for family and friends. The air fryer comes with full digital display; last but not the least Electric Kettle – an aestheticallydesigned kettle with stainless steel inner wall ideal for Indian families.
In addition Tesora promises nationwide warranty, and after sales service including free installation and demo for selected range of products. Along with Tesora’s own D2C website, these products are available on Amazon and Flipkart, the company is also working towards building a foundation to get into offline retail sales. Its major Media Note focus is on bringing more stock-keeping units (SKUs) on shelf and integrating Tesora in the everyday lifestyles of Indian consumers. The goal is to have 50 additional SKU’s, 25 each for domestic appliances and cookware by the end of financial year. Furthermore, thebrand’s focus is on scaling supply chain and in-house logistics and providing best in class after-sales service for its consumers.
