Lokmanya Hospital in Association with Lions Club Launches 1st Woman Super Specialty Clinic in Pune

Pune, June 2022: – Women’s healthcare is fragmented and according to the National Health Profile 2021 (prepared by the Central Bureau of Health Intelligence) 31.2% of women reported concerns about no female health provider available at healthcare centres. Hence, Lokmanya Hospitals, a leading chain of hospital in Maharashtra and Lions Club announce the launch of 1st “Woman Super specialty clinic” with all facilities under one roof in Pune.
Dr. Tarita Shankar, President of Indira Group of Institutes inaugurated the clinic on 31stMay 2022. During the inauguration of clinic, Anuja Deshmane, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dr. Shubhada Joshi, Secretary General Practitioners Association were present as the chief guest.
