NEW DELHI, May 04, 2023 – Mercom India Awards 2023 announced its annual winners across 11 categories that recognized the exceptional work of organizations that contributed to India’s clean energy industry and helped drive the country forward in its energy transition.
The ceremony was held on April 26, 2023, during the first day of the Mercom India Renewables Summit 2023. It focused on each winner’s uniqueness, challenges, and complexities, as well as their economic, environmental, and social impact. An independent panel of Mercom experts picked the winners among almost a hundred nominations after a rigorous vetting process.
The awards were meant to highlight the remarkable achievements of organizations and individuals who have accelerated India’s environmental goals and grown local economies through innovation, leadership, and the advancement of renewable energy across India.

- Best C&I Project (Rooftop): Fourth Partner Energy
- Best C&I Project (Ground-mount): Amp Energy India
- Best Residential Project: Gujarat Power Corporation Limited
- Best Off-grid Project: Oorja Development Solutions India
- Best Hybrid Project: CleanMax Enviro Energy
- Best Engineered Project: NTPC Limited
- Best Innovation Award: RenewSys India
- Deal of the Year (Strategic): Serentica Renewables
- Deal of the Year (Financial): SJVN Green Energy
- Energy Transition Award: Hero Future Energies
