In its thorough commitment to raise public awareness of all safety principles including road safety, workplace safety and human health, the company conducted programs all across India during the National Safety Week of this year.
The National Safety Council observes National Safety Day with the goal of promoting the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) movement in the country. The theme of this year being ‘Nurture young minds Develop a safety culture’ holds an immense focus on educating the employees from different fields of work on workplace safety and motivating employers and others of their responsibility in making the workplace safer. Mallcom India Limited, which has an enriched history of being an integrated manufacturer and distributor for head-to-toe protection with the presence of 200 SKUs across 80 countries, celebrated the National Safety Week from 4th to 10th March across industry verticals in major cities such as Kolkata, Greater Noida, Guwahati, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai etc with the larger aim of making people aware of the occupational safety and the safety products needed to avoid the potential hazards.
Key experts from the brand conducted a physical session with the safety managers of both PSU and the corporate sectors along with select factory workers, adhering to the safety protocol of social distancing. Besides, the company conducted quiz competitions in and around 120 companies across the country, belonging from different segments like Pharma, Automobile and Auto Ancillaries, Cement/Ceramics/Construction, Steel and Metals, Chemicals and Paints, Food Processing, Shipping and Logistics and Material handling. This was an initiative engaging frontline industrial workers and safety officers across India to drive the message on the importance of a safety-first attitude.
Aligned with this year’s theme of National Safety Day, Mallcom India makes an effort to make the young working-class aware of the potential occupational hazards and enable them to use the corrective measures to sustain the safety of human health. Besides the on-ground activation, the brand has also gone full-fledged with their website and social media campaign for this initiative.
