Colorcon Ventures Invests in Phytolon to Advance the Future of Natural Colorants

Phytolon leverages bio-production and precision fermentation to create natural food colors

HARLEYSVILLE, PA, August 14, 2025 – Colorcon Ventures, the corporate venture fund of Colorcon Inc., has invested in Phytolon, a startup company offering natural food coloring via precision fermentation of modified baker’s yeast.

Colorcon Ventures invests in this bridge round alongside existing investors in Phytolon, including NextGen Nutrition, Arkin Capital, Trendlines, EIT Food, Yossi Ackerman, Steve Dubin and another strategic investor that will be announced at a later stage.
