Century Plyboards’s Q4 results for Financial Year 2025
Kolkata, May 30, 2025: India’s leading plywood company, Century Plyboards (India) Ltd, announced their Q4 financial results today for the quarter ending March 31st, 2025.
Highlights:
- Net Revenue from operations for the Year, ending 31st March 2025 were Rs 4068 crs: an increase of 8.2% over last financial year on standalone. On consolidated level, the revenue grew by 16.5% to Rs 4,528 crs;
- Earnings before Depreciation Interest and Tax for the year 2024-25 stood at Rs 524 crs which is 12.9%
- Profit After Tax stood at Rs 285 crs which is 7% for the year 2024-25
Commenting on the company’s performance, Mr. Sajjan Bhajanka, Chairman, Century Plyboards (I) Ltd said “The Q4 results for FY 25 are better on both Y-o-Y and Q-o-Q. Year-over-year, standalone revenue indicate a growth of 2.3% (from Rs 1026 crs to Rs 1049 crs) and on consolidated basis, a growth of 13.0% (from Rs 1061 crs to Rs 1198 crs). EBITDA margin for the company as a whole considering all segment, stood at 13.6% in Q4 compared to 11.5% for Q3. The increase is mainly due to higher volume and lower sales overheads in Q4 compared to Q3.
Plywood Segment is doing very well and one of the highest growing segment among the entire building material industry. The top line grew by 9.8% Y-o-Y and 9.2% Q-o-Q with EBITDA Margin of 15.4%, mainly due to higher volume. MDF revenue on consolidated level grew by 37.47% Y-o-Y with an EBITDA margin of 13.2%. We are EBITDA positive in our newly set up plant at Badvel in Q4.”
