Popees Baby Care Strengthens Retail Presence with 95th Store, Targets Gulf Market
Wayanad, June 18th, 2025: Popees Baby Care, with over two decades of experience in children’s apparel manufacturing, has opened its 95th store near the LIC Office in Kalpetta, Wayanad district of Kerala.
Kalpetta Municipal Chairman T.J. Isaac inaugurated the store. Kalpetta NSS President Sudhakaran, Popees Baby Care Group Business Head Sunil George, Admin & Project Head Krishna Kumar, Operations Manager Mithun, and Marketing Brand Manager Aneeta Jose were among those present.
Last month, Popees opened two stores in the UAE. Popees first began operations in 2003. Currently, Popees employs over 2,000 people. The company currently manufactures and supplies all kinds of products for children.
This year, the company is set to open around ten showrooms in Dubai alone and is also preparing to expand into other GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar. Popees already has its own office and showroom in the UK and is planning to open stores in Australia this year. Recognizing the vast potential in international markets, Popees is gearing up to expand into several other countries this year.
