Divine Addition: Shri Shyam Township to Host Lord Jagannath Temple in Khatu Shyam Ji
Bhoomi Pujan Performed by Chief Priest of Jagannath Puri Temple
Jaipur / Sikar / New Delhi / Khatu Shyam Ji, Rajasthan | April 19, 2025: In a significant spiritual event, the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of a Lord Jagannath Temple was held in Shri Shyam Township, located in Jalund Maganpura, District Sikar, near the revered pilgrimage town of Khatu Shyam Ji, Rajasthan. The ceremony was performed by Shri Bhawani Prasad Das Mahapatra, the Chief Priest of the historic Jagannath Puri Temple, Odisha, invoking divine blessings for the project.
The new temple will be built at the heart of Shri Shyam Township, an emerging spiritual and residential community developed by Om Shri Real Tech Group. Known for its serene surroundings and proximity to Khatu Shyam Ji — one of the most visited pilgrimage destinations in North India — the township is being designed as an integrated spiritual space. The addition of the Jagannath Temple will enhance the township’s spiritual aura and help establish it as a center for faith, culture, and community engagement for residents, saints, and spiritual seekers alike.
The land for the temple was generously offered by Mr. Praveen Kumar Bhati, Founder of OmShri Real Tech Group, who expressed his deep devotion and commitment to serving society through this spiritual initiative. Mr. Bhati remarked, “I believe in using our resources to serve a higher purpose. Donating land for this Lord Jagannath Temple is not just a personal offering but a step toward creating a spiritual center that will benefit future generations.”
Shri Bhawani Prasad Das Mahapatra, while performing the Bhoomi Pujan, shared his joy in witnessing Lord Jagannath’s blessings reach the land of Khatu Shyam Ji. He emphasized that the temple would serve as a bridge connecting two spiritually significant pilgrimages — Puri and Khatu — and become a place for devotion and divine connection.
Also present at the event were Ms. Mamta Bhati, Co-founder of Om Shri Real Tech Group, along with Mr. Mohit Mittal, CEO, and Ms. Shweta Mittal, COO of MORES, who all voiced their support for the project.
