Nikhil Verma won the title of Bundeli Maestro

Indore: India is a land of art and culture, and has given birth to innumerable world-famous artists and talented gems. Bundelkhand’s popular digital platform, ‘Bundelkhand Troopel’ has been running a show, ‘Bundeli Maestro’ to give the acting talents of the region a big platform to showcase their flair of acting to the audiences. Nikhil Verma who is a truly fine artist has won the title and emerged as the country’s first Bundeli maestro.

On this subject, Raja Bundela, a well-known actor, producer and director of the industry, says, “All the programs run by troopel Bundelkhand is contributing to make Bundelkhand a prominent place in the country. All such shows are a way to nurture the talents of the region and are widely appreciated.”

Indian film Director, Ram Bundela, who stayed connected with the program right from the beginning says that “All the contestants who are selected in the Bundeli Maestro are very talented artists. They have a bright future ahead. As for those, who due to some reason were left behind, they should take this as an experience and work hard to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.”

Nikhil Verma, expressing his joy on winning the Bundeli Maestro title said, “Troopel Bundelkhand is a platform which is the perfect medium to bring the talents of the region to the world. I would like to thank all the judges and the audience, for recognizing my talent and for giving my dream new wings to fly.”

Atul Malikram, Co-Founder, Troopel Bundelkhand says, “Art doesn’t need any identity, art makes its mark wherever it finds its place. All the finalists who made the top 3 are winners in my view. But since competition has its own rules, the top-ranked, future artist Nikhil has received the title of the country’s first Bundeli maestro. Nikhil will be given a special place at the Khajuraho International Film Festival so that he can learn new skills from the seasoned actors of Mumbai.”

The region’s first online acting competition, ‘Bundeli Maestro’ which started on 15th July passed several stages to reach the finals on 31st August, which was completed in two rounds. In the first round of this race, the top 5 finalists were given the task of acting with a combination of comedy, emotion and anger by the show’s judge, Ritesh Raghuvanshi. Nikhil Verma, Rashmi Rani and Viriti Kumari made their place among the top 3 finalists. In the second round, all the three finalists gave jaw-dropping performances with just a few minutes of preparation and completed the surprise tasks given by Mr Ram Bundela, Mrs Sushmita Mukherjee and Mr Gulshan Pandey. Giving the best performance, Nikhil won first place and the title of ‘Bundeli Maestro’, while Rashmi won second place with Viriti following the third. Also, Indian film actors, Gulshan Pandey Ji and Ram Bundela Ji guided all the participants into the film industry.

Organized in association with PR 24×7, Health 24×7, Bhadas Cafe and BACCPA (Bundelkhand Academy of Cinema Culture and Performing Arts), the competition went through several stages to reach the finals, including 6 auditions, 2 quarterfinals, 1 wild card, 1 Semi-final. Ritesh Raghuvanshi, the judge who held the show together from start to finish; the runner-up of the country’s 1st Bundeli Chef Competition and co-host, Sonal Jain, host Aishwarya Fender and the entire team of troopel contributed largely to make the show a success. Troopel Bundelkhand salutes all the talents of India and Bundelkhand and also wishes all the participants a bright future.
