Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Director and Co-founder, Wakefit, said, “At Wakefit, we have always believed that good sleep is fundamental to a healthy, balanced life, and the Wakefit Sleep Internship is our way of turning that belief into a conversation that resonates across the country. Season after season, it’s been heartening to see young Indians like Pooja embrace the idea of prioritising rest, while also having fun along the way. We remain committed to driving awareness and dialogue around better sleep habits for all.”

The Wakefit Sleep Internship has been one of the most viral campaigns since its launch in 2019. In an endeavour to make India sleep better, the internship was created to reward something most people struggle to prioritise – quality sleep. Insights from the 8th edition of the Great Indian Sleep Scorecard (GISS) 2025 highlight just how pertinent this initiative is: 58% of Indians now go to bed past 11 PM, and nearly 44% wake up feeling unrested, largely due to digital distractions, work stress, and erratic schedules.
