Amid the Uttar Pradesh legislative elections things got heated up in political spectrum between the ruling BJP and the main opposition party the samajwadi party, when a fighter plane of the Indian Air Force landed on the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur on Sunday. Politically, it is being seen as an important step for the ruling BJP, during the tenure of Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister of the state, Akhilesh Yadav, the fighter plane was landed on the Agra Lucknow Expressway just before the 2017 assembly elections. The Samajwaadi Party has always taken pride in Agra Yamuna Expressway on which Akhilesh Yadav made a plane land. Since then the Samajwaadi pary has always been aggressive on this issue even after losing the 2017 assembly elections and questioned the BJP that is there any expressway they have buit on which they could make a plane Land. It is believed that this Fighter Plane landing on Purvanchal Expressway is CM Yogi’s answer to Akhilesh’s Agra Yamuna Expressway.
