Brajholi Mahotsav going to start on 1st March
Jaipur, February 2023: Department of Tourism and Bharatpur district administration organizing three days “Brajholi Mahotsav” in Bharatpur, Kama and Deeg from 1st March to 3rd march 2023. In these three days of Mahotsav, the key attractions will be Mega Rajasthani Sanskratik Sandhya’s “Rangilo Rajasthan”, a drama based on the life of Lord Shri Krishana which will be presented by Shriram Bhartiya Kala Kendra, New Delhi and Bhakti Sandhya will be presented by Madhwaj Rock Band of Barsana.
In this Brajholi Mahotsav, domestic and foreign tourists will get to see and enjoy the many colours of Holi like; Gulal Holi, Kunj Gulal Holi, Milk-curd Holi, Laddu Holi, Flower’s Holi and Lathmar Holi. Department of Tourism and Bharatpur district administration is in full swing for the preparations of Brajholi Mahotsav. The Brajholi Mahotsav will start from Deeg on 1st March and will end with Mega Rajasthani Sanskratik Sandhya’s “Rangilo Rajasthan” at Bharatpur on 3rd March 2023.
On March 1st – Sports competitions will be organized at Mela Maidan, Deeg in which Tug-of-war, Kabbadi, Matka Race, Lemon Race and Grandfather-grandson Race will be organized, while in the Deeg Mahal Palace campus in the afternoon Mehndi, Rangoli and Mustache competition will be organized and after this a spectacular performance will be presented by folk artists. In the evening a play based on the life of Lord Shri Krishan will be staged.
On March 2nd – After worshiping Ganesh at the Lal Darwaza, Kama, Gulal Holi, and Kunj Gulal will be played at Gokul Chandramaji Temple, Milk-curd Holi at Madanmohanji Temple and Laddu Holi will be played at Radha Vallabhji Temple. The procession will start from Gopinathji Temple where local citizens will play Lathmar Holi and it will come to Radha Vallabhji Temple where they will enjoy cultural programmes and Flower’s Holi at there. Mahaarti and Deepdan will be held at Vimalkund, after that Hori Ke Rasiya will be sung at Gopinathji Temple and the evening will be end with Bhakti Snadhya at Kot Upar Stadium.
On March 3rd – Sports competitions, Painting, Mehndi and Rangoli competitions, Turban tying competition and Mustache competition will be organized in the Government Museum at Lohagarh stadium in Bharatpur. In the evening, convening of Rangilo Rajasthan Sanskratik Sandhya at Vishwapriya Shastri Park, the three-days Brajholi Mahotsav will be concluded.
