Work-Study Degree Collaboration with University of Roehampton for Bridging Digital Skills Gap

On 17 Oct 2022, the Head of Partnership from the University of Roehampton, Mr. George Knell visited eduCLaaS headquarter in Singapore to formally launch the collaboration between Lithan Academy – a subsidiary under eduCLaaS and the University of Roehampton UK, to deliver inclusive work-study degree for bridging digital skills gaps in Singapore and across Asia. The programs have now been registered with CPE, an agency under SkillsFuture Singapore, which is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education. University of Roehampton has a long history of developing and delivering apprenticeship programmes in the London home campus as well as in partnership with the industries.

According to eduCLaaS’ Founder and CEO, Mr Leslie Loh, “Our undergraduate learners start their work-study journey with an intensive digital skilling boot camp for acquiring work-ready skills to support digital career induction in 12 months. For the next 3 years, our learner will join the industry as a full-time paid apprentice for work-integrated learning with employers in our Pan-Asia connected learning ecosystem. With 3 years of learning integrated work, we expect more than 80% of our cohort to earn more than their tuition before graduation for a highly affordable work2learn journey.”
