Taare Zameen Par Marks 6th Foundation Day, Salutes Educators in Mumbai
Mumbai, April 29, 2025 — Taare Zameen Par (TZP), an inspiring online community founded by Sejal Ray, celebrated its 6th Foundation Day along with its 10th offline event, “Leaders of Light: Honouring Visionary Educators,” at Whistling Woods International College, Goregaon, Mumbai. The event recognized and felicitated 50 distinguished school and college principals for their outstanding contributions to education and society.
Founded by IT professional, TEDx speaker, Bharatnatyam Visharad, and author Sejal Ray, Taare Zameen Par is a community of over 11,900 parents committed to nurturing children’s talents and promoting positive mental health within families. Since its inception, TZP has organized more than 240 free live performances across disciplines such as music, dance, painting, art & craft, scientific experiments, and storytelling — particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. Notably, over 70% of children performed live for the first time through the platform, helping them build confidence, overcome stage fear, learn new skills, and enhance their overall personality. Over six years, TZP has positively impacted more than 2,800 families.
Driven by the belief that “Every Child is Unique,” TZP emphasizes recognizing and celebrating diverse talents in children. To date, the community has hosted nine offline events in Pune, Mumbai, and Vadodara, and now plans to expand PAN India.

The event was hosted by Gayatri Shankar, with 11-year-old prodigy Ridhhaan Jain serving as the Young Host.
