Telangana State Secured 3 medals in National Track Cycling Championship, Aashirwad Saxena secured Silver Medal
Hyderabad, December 13, 2022….Telangana State Cycling team participating in 74th Senior, 51st Junior and 37th Sub‐Junior National Track Cycling Championship at Guwahati gave an impressive performance. On the 2nd day of National Track Cycling Championship on Monday, the Telangana State Cyclist Aashirwad Saxena secured Silver medal in 10km Scratch Race.
Junior team of Telangana State consisting of 3 cyclists namely Aashirwad Saxena, A.Rama Krishna and K.Sai Ram have secured Bronze medal in Team Sprint event. In sub‐junior category, a team consisting of 3 cyclists namely B.Srikanth, G.Sai Charan Yadav and S.Koushik have secured Bronze medal in Team Sprint event.
Aashirwad Saxena who is an international junior cyclist from Telangana has performed at high caliber and has brought laurels to the state. The other above mentioned cyclists belong to SATS Academy and have been part of the Khelo India camp for the past 2 years.
Still there is hope for more medals in upcoming 3 days of Championship, said P.Malla Reddy President & K. Dattatreya Gen Secretary, Telangana Cycling Association. They congratulated the Telangana Cyclists on behalf of Telangana Cycling Association and Sports Authority of Telangana.
