Habuild Makes History Again with World Record for Largest Online Yoga Event

Habuild Sets 5th World Record on Yoga Day with Largest Online Yoga ParticipationMumbai, 21st June 2025: In a powerful celebration of International Yoga Day, Habuild, India’s first habit-building platform, has achieved a remarkable global milestone by setting a new world record for the title ‘highest attendance in an online yoga class globally’. Officiated by Official World Record, on the morning of June 21 about 750,074 participants from across 169 countries came together virtually to practice yoga in a synchronized, guided session organized by Saurabh Bothra of Habuild.

The 45 minute session, streamed live from Nagpur and accessible globally, brought together yoga practitioners from over 169 countries—making it one of the most inclusive and far-reaching yoga events.

This is Habuild’s fifth World Record so far. In Jan 2024, it set the Guinness World Record for most viewers for a yoga live stream on YouTube with 2,46,252 viewers, followed by the World Records Union title for most live viewership in a single day for a yoga lesson with 5,99,162 viewers and the largest attendance in a virtual meditation class with 2,87,711 participants. In 2023, Habuild had the largest attendance in a virtual yoga class by World Records Union which was attended by 1,34,057 participants.

The yoga session was the culmination of Habuild’s 21-day #HarGharYoga initiative, which encouraged participants to cultivate daily movement habits through free, guided sessions. The initiative not only promoted physical and mental well-being but also built a sense of community across age groups, geographies, and experience levels.

Speaking on the achievement, Saurabh Bothra, Co-founder of Habuild and a certified yoga trainer, said: “This record is a testament to the power of collective intent. When people across the world commit to building one small habit like showing up for themselves through yoga the ripple effect is transformational. We’re grateful to every participant who believed in this mission and made #HarGharYoga a global movement.”

Earlier this month Habuild crossed 1 Crore people in their community. With this milestone, Habuild cements its place as a frontrunner in habit-building and purpose-led wellness, reaffirming that consistent, small steps can lead to record-breaking change.
