An Animal Welfare CSR Initiative ; Burgrill Helps In Providing Reflector Collars For Stray Dogs in Delhi NCR
New Delhi, February 2021: Burgrill is an eatery serving mouth-watering gourmet burgers. Launched in 2016, Founders Ankur Madan, Rajat Bawa and Shreh Madan brought to the brand an expansive cumulative experience of nearly four decades in the hospitality sector.Under their leadership and guidance, Burgrill since its inception has ventured out of its comfort zone and launched over 40+ outlets in more than 15+ cities in India, rapidly growing in the northern states.
Burgrill has always recognised its social responsibility as a company , and consumers in general are looking to be more socially responsible in their own lives, and they want to make purchases from companies that share their values. In consonance with this ideology, Burgrill joined hands with four renowned pet organizations – Wagging Tales, Poochtales, Red Paws Rescue and Tales for Tails. When we speak about welfare, everyone works hard towards helping people, but we often forget those without a voice- animals. Burgrill strives to help these stray animals, and the previous year had purchased warm coats for them. The brand undertook the task this winter of making and providing 300 reflective ( glow in the dark) dog collars for stray dogs with a focus on their safety and to help in preventing road accidents involving them. With low visibility at night and since most stray dogs do not have a collar, reflector collars are indeed a need of the hour . Each organization individually received 75 collars, which were then given to the organizations own in house dogs and put on stray dogs through the help of volunteers. Burgrill spends a part of their income to feed stray dogs in areas where they have their office or home presence and continues to make a difference towards the betterment of the lives of these stray animals.
As the number of stray dogs keeps increasing over the years, improving animal protection awareness will be of utmost importance and initiatives like these pave the correct path for others, and help increase responsibility amongst the community. Burgrill strives to make a positive impact in the society in the future as well.
