Speaking about the initiative, Neeti Wahi, Chief Digital & Information Officer at Indus Towers, stated, “Indus Towers’ DTV is a commitment to inclusive growth and a belief that technology can be a powerful equalizer. It is heartening to see over half of our beneficiaries are women, which is a testament to our focus on inclusive growth and sustainable impact.”
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility flagship Saksham, Indus Towers’ solar powered Digital Transformation Van provides free doorstep digital education and public services. The mobile classroom is equipped with high-speed internet, modern computers, printers, and e-learning tools thereby serving as a hub for community awareness sessions, including digital safety, environmental conservation, and waste management to its diverse audience representing school children (12+), women, farmers and senior citizens to empower those who left behind in the digital revolution. These sessions are led by expert trainers from NIIT Foundation, ensuring personalized support for learners.
These efforts demonstrate how DTV has become a transformative platform in enhancing women’s lives through its tools and knowledge that are essential to navigate the digital world and improve their livelihoods. Unlike conventional campaigns that rely on static centers, the DTV goes where the need is greatest and customizes its offerings for maximum impact.
