ITM BBA Students Begin Year Two with Industry-Focused Refresher Week
Navi Mumbai, 30 June, 2025: The ITM BBA Program at ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai, commenced its second year (Term IV) with a lively Refresher Week designed to academically realign the students and prepare them for their six-month internships at the conclusion of the year.
The week kicked off with a motivational workshop from corporate trainer Ms. Leekha Haarish, called “Mirror Year: Time to Face it, Fix it and Forward it”. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their past experiences as they confronted both personal and academic issues and moved forward into goal setting with a purpose. It promoted autonomy, resilience, ownership and self-awareness.
Adding a creative and emotional dimension, the student-led Catalyst Club organized “Whispers”—an anonymous note-writing activity that encouraged appreciation and emotional openness within the campus community.
Day Two featured an intensive Interview Simulation Workshop led by Ms. Sneha Faizpurkar from Elevate Career Labs. Students engaged in mock group discussions and received personalized feedback to sharpen their interview and communication skills, essential for their upcoming corporate exposure.
“Our goal is to ensure that students don’t just return to class, but return with clarity, confidence, and a career-ready mindset,” said Dr. Namita Soni, Program Head – BBA, ITM Business School. “Refresher Week is the bridge between reflection and real-world readiness.”
The day concluded with “Qrious Draft,” a lively, student-organized quiz competition that combined fun, learning, and teamwork. Surprise hampers and engaging questions kept the energy high and promoted peer interaction in a lighthearted setting.
The Refresher Week continues with a blend of academic, professional, and student-led activities—reinforcing ITM’s commitment to holistic education and preparing students for a successful internship journey ahead.
