New Delhi: PW (PhysicsWallah), India’s most affordable Ed-tech platform on its second anniversary announced it will offer a scholarship worth Rs. 50 crores to existing and new students enrolling in the PW app. The objective is to encourage students’ passion for academic excellence without pinching parents’ pockets.

Mr. Alakh Pandey, Founder & CEO, of PW (PhysicsWallah), said “My aim is to make education affordable and accessible to students across India. With the PW app and scholarship that we are offering, we are ensuring parents don’t feel the burden of providing quality education to their children. This is just a beginning for us, we are looking at more such scholarship programs in the coming future”

The PW Scholarship will be a valuable addition, particularly for the young minds coming from rural areas and smaller cities who lack high-quality training. PW app’s aim is to help students face the national-level assessments such as JEE, and NEET along with other competitive exams with confidence.

Mr. Alakh Pandey said “On the eve of our second anniversary, PW has given a wallet credit worth of Rs. 1000 which will be applied to the courses for this year’s session in the form of scholarships. We are also encouraging students to refer to their friends to make use of this great opportunity to study with the best teachers in India. “

For the next three years, PW has multiple high-end growth plans. The platform has already made provisions for launching courses in 9 vernacular languages, including Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Odia, Malayalam, and Kannada. This step will help PW reach every corner of the country and connect with 250 million+ students by 2025. PW also looks to bridge the accessibility gap by opening 20 offline hybrid classrooms, aka Pathshalas, across India. It has already inaugurated a few offline hybrid classrooms with more than 7,000 students. PW app has also reached the milestone of 5 million downloads on Playstore.
