Lenovo today announced its nationwide creator-led initiative, Made With Lenovo Yoga (Aura Edition), designed to inspire Gen Z to rediscover India’s cultural roots by reinterpreting timeless art forms through a modern, digital lens. As part of this campaign, Lenovo has unveiled three cinematic short films, bringing together traditional artisans and contemporary digital creators traveling to Odisha, Rajasthan, and Kashmir, using the Lenovo Yoga Aura Edition AI PCs to reimagine each state’s artistic heritage through advanced 3D design and motion-led storytelling. The films will be live on Hotstar this week.

Pattachitra: Ancient Scrolls Find New Life
The film based on Odisha showcases the creative partnership between motion designer Jishnu Chatterjee and fourth-generation Pattachitra master Sachikanta Sahoo. Set in the artistic village of Raghurajpur, the film captures how the centuries-old scroll art known for its intricate detailing, ornate lines, and mythological narratives can be translated into immersive digital visuals. Through extensive interaction with the craft and its legacy, Jishnu brings Sachikanta’s motifs and characters to life using AI-assisted modelling, high-fidelity texturing, and cinematic animation, all while retaining the authenticity and emotional depth of the original handcrafted work.
Kaavad: Wooden Panels Turn Into Living Stories
In Rajasthan, Lenovo presents a film that reimagines the state’s iconic Kaavad storytelling tradition. The collaboration features 3D/AI artist TooSid working closely with renowned Kaavad performer Akshay Gandhi, who has spent years preserving this layered storytelling form. The film demonstrates how the unfolding wooden panels, miniature scenes, and oral narratives of Kaavad can be transformed into dynamic, animated sequences. Using the capabilities of the Yoga 9i Aura Edition, TooSid brings these handcrafted visuals alive in a digital world that preserves the soul of the tradition while offering a fresh expression tailored for today’s audiences.
Carpet Art: Woven Threads That Come Alive
From Kashmir, the campaign showcases a film dedicated to the region’s famed carpet-making legacy. AI artist Varun Gupta collaborates with master craftsmen from Ali Shah Crafts, a family known for safeguarding generations of weaving expertise. The film reinterprets Kashmir’s intricate carpet motifs, chinars, vines, paisleys, floral borders, birds, and folk characters including those from the tale of Laila and Majnu through AI-powered modelling and motion animation. Traditional static carpets are transformed into richly detailed, flowing visual worlds that preserve the precision, symbolism, and handcrafted textures of Kashmiri artistry.
Speaking about the initiative, Chandrika Jain, Marketing Director, Lenovo India, said,
“India’s artistic heritage carries centuries of skill and storytelling, and we see AI as a powerful tool to help it thrive in the future. With the ‘Made With Lenovo Yoga (Aura Edition)’ campaign, our goal is to show how technology can be used for good, not to replace tradition, but to preserve it, share it. By giving creators AI-powered capabilities that respect the authenticity of handcrafted art, the Lenovo Yoga Aura Edition enables them to push creative boundaries and reimagine cultural narratives in formats that resonate with today’s young audiences.”
Across all three films, the creators relied on the Lenovo Yoga Aura Edition AI PCs, whose AI-ready architecture with a powerful 40+ TOPS NPU, long-lasting battery, Copilot+ features, and PureSight Pro OLED display enabled seamless creative workflows from on-ground sketching and modelling to editing, animation, and final rendering. The device’s power, mobility, and ability to preserve handcrafted textures allowed each creator to work closely with artisans while transforming their interpretations into immersive, cinematic experiences that brought traditional art forms into compelling digital narratives.
Through this initiative, Lenovo reinforces how technology can be used thoughtfully to preserve India’s heritage while empowering creators to explore it through newer creative mediums. The campaign further strengthens Lenovo’s position as a leader in AI PCs and underscores its commitment to enabling creator-focused innovation in India.
