Novotel Vizag Unveils Eco-Friendly Christmas Tree, Highlighting the Artistry of Andhra Craft

Visakhapatnam, Dec 02: Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach celebrated the spirit of sustainability and regional pride with the unveiling and lighting of its uniquely curated Sustainable Christmas Tree. The ceremony witnessed the presence of guests, dignitaries, and members of the media, marking the beginning of an eco-friendly and culturally rich festive season.

This year’s Christmas tree is a tribute to Andhra Pradesh’s vibrant heritage and the hotel’s commitment to supporting local artisans and environmentally responsible practices. Every element of the tree has been thoughtfully selected to reflect authenticity, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

  • Mangalagiri Sarees: Handwoven fabrics from the iconic weaving town of Mangalagiri, adding colour, elegance, and traditional craftsmanship.
  • Ettikoppaka Toys: Handcrafted lacquered wooden toys created by artisans of Ettikoppaka, showcasing Andhra’s timeless artistic heritage.
  • Kondapalli Toys: Traditional wooden toys from Kondapalli village, celebrating age-old storytelling and skilled craftsmanship.
