Singer Sourabhee Debbarma Performed at the AtriSTREE Grand Finale 2023 at Growel’s 101 Mall
Mumbai, March 29, 2023: Singer Sourabhee Debbarma (winner of Indian Idol 4 and Guinness Book record-holder) along with over 35 talented women performed at the Grand Finale of the 9th edition of ArtiSTREE 2023 at Growel’s 101 Mall. Artisteer is an annual extravaganza by Growel’s 101 Mall, a popular family destination in Kandivali, to honour women from various walks of life and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent.
The Grand Finale included the award ceremony to felicitate the winners of AtriSTREE 2023 across titles such as ‘Queen of Art’, ‘Queen of Performance’, ‘Queen of Cuisines’, Queen of Inspiration’, and Influencer Queen. The Chief Guest of this glittering evening is Smt. Urmila Bein Ashar of ‘Gujju Bein Na Nashta’, a successful #youtuber and Master Chef India Top 16 contestant. Judges for ArtiSTREE 2023 Included Artist Pratibha Goel, Dr. Gopa Chakrabarti, and a versatile Singer, and choreographer Madhumita Chakraborty.
ArtiSTREE 2023 received more than 100 entries this year across Arts & Crafts, Culinary, and Performance Arts categories. Participants were shortlisted over three days of auditioning rounds earlier in the month of March 2023. The finalists were then provided with a public platform through an exhibition of Arts & Culinary from the 24th to 26th of March 2023, while the Performing Arts participants were given an opportunity to perform live in a concert open to all customers of Growel’s 101 Mall.
Speaking about the initiative, Gerald Mathew, General Manager, of Growel’s 101 Mall, said, “ArtiSTREE is a festival to celebrate womanhood. It is like a movement that was started nine years ago to provide an open platform to women – largely homemakers, to encourage their talent. Over the years we have continued to receive an overwhelming response from women to participate at ArtiSTREE and showcase their talent to all mall visitors who are given complimentary access to this extravaganza. The event has been receiving a large audience year-on-year.”
As part of ArtiSTREE 2023, Growel’s 1O1 Mall also organized workshops by Women Experts for their women customers. These included workshops on Self-Love by Nita Sundararaju, Tarot/Numerology by Neetu Kumaar, recipes using Millet by Anupama Padhi, and Art by Namrata Agarwal.
Growel’s 1O1 Mall is committed to playing an active role towards the betterment of the society and surroundings in which they operate. Over the years, Growel’s 1O1 Mall has taken many social initiatives like donating anti-pollution masks to Mumbai Traffic Police, engaging customers to support Solar Lamp donation to the tribal residents of the SGNP, workshops on the welfare of stray dogs, and also beautification of the flyover wall overlooking the mall entrance gates, among others.
