28th Dec. 2021, New Delhi, India: Vibrant Gujarat 2022 attracted an ultra-High-Tech. project which is going to be first Quantum Computing Technology Park of India, just three months after China announced constructing its first Quantum Computing Industrial Park at Hefei, capital city of East China’s Anhui province.

Today research firm Innogress announced its intent to set up ‘Greater Karnavati Quantum Computing Technology Park’ (GKQCTP), a first of its kind multiparty SPV in Quantum Computing Tech. space in India, at Gandhinagar, capital city of state of Gujarat, on the sidelines of Vibrant Gujarat 2022 pre-summit events.

“Building in house capabilities in Quantum Computing Technology space is strategic for India, and it is going to fuel our A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) supremacy ambitions, based on which innovation led Indian Economy gets further boost up. Most of our present computing technology likely to get redundant and obsolete in next few years, due to which India may not be in position to augment its Digital Technologies for a $5T beyond economic future. Keeping India’s future GDP growth requirements in mind, we have proposed setting up first Quantum Computing Technology Park of India to Gujarat Govt. for creating a robust Quantum Technology ecosystem, right from R&D to Design & Engineering to Simulation to Testing to Manufacturing to Packaging to Skilling in Quantum Tech.” said Innogress Founding Partner cum Promoter of GKQCTP Mr Sumant Parimal.

“GKQCTP project is aligned with India’s National Mission on Quantum Technologies & Applications (NM-QTA) and also aligned with goals of ‘Aatamanirbhar Bharat’, ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’. Further with inhouse manufacturing of Qubits based ultrahigh speed Quantum Computing chips at GKQCTP, India’s dependence on silicon based imported semiconductors and IC chips, which operates on classical bits, goes down, and it also creates beyond silicon IT future for India”- Sumant Parimal said.
