Kreative Minds celebrated this festive season in the optimistic way

Kreative Minds celebrated Durga Puja throughout the week in unique way. This year was a little different. The learners of Kreative Minds did not only paint or sketch any portrait of Maa Durga, instead, they went crafty.

As told by Devina Mitra (learner of Kreative Minds) “The Durga Puja, also known as Navratri, is a big celebration with festivities worshipping the goddess, with nine days of worship to different forms of the Devi. Celebrations include making beautiful statues, and celebrating fine culture, which has been in tradition for thousands of years. The Durga Puja is the main event of the year for many states, making this festival very special.”

In this same month Kreative Minds also celebrated Gandhi Jayanti Online. This year was a little different. The learners of Kreative Minds did not only paint or sketch any portrait of Gandhi Ji, instead, they went crafty. The learners choose various items available at home and crafts based on Gandhi Jayanti were done. The use of materials that we generally end up throwing in trash or just leaving it lying around being USED and converted into an ART.

Items like: Toothpicks, Cotton, Ice-Cream Sticks, Paper, Thread, Paint, Buttons, etc. were used in their craft work.

As told by Sejal (learner of Kreative Minds) Gandhi ji has done a lot for our country, like the non-violence movement, Gandhi organized Indian resistance, fought anti-Indian legislation in the courts and led large protests against the colonial government. His non-violent resistance helped end British rule in India and has influenced modern civil disobedience movements across the globe.

Amrita Tiwary Founder Kreative Minds said “This is a festival month and we are doing lots of activities and our institute always gives a chance to every students to showcase their talents”
