Vishal Nayak to portray Manish Agarwal in &TV’s Ghar Ek Mandir- Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki
Having worked in theatre, films, and television, popular actor Vishal Nayak is now all set to join the cast of &TV’s latest fiction show, ‘Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki’. He will portray Manish Agarwal’s character, the eldest son of Kundan Agarwal, who owns Agarwal & Sons – a family-run jewellery shop. Produced by Zee Studios, the show is a never-seen-before socio drama on Indian television built around the context of the legendary king, Agrasen Maharaja. He was the founder of the Agrawal community of traders and, through his ideologies and teachings, helped the community prosper.
After nearly a decade in the entertainment industry, Vishal Nayak has had a remarkable journey across film and television. He has also spent considerable time exploring theatre along with being the face of many TV commercials. About his character and the show, Vishal Nayak as Manish Agarwal says, “It is the first time a socio-drama set in the context of the legendary king, Agrasen Maharaja’s core principles will be seen on Indian television. This unique story concept itself intrigued me and led me into being a part of this show. I will be playing the role of Manish Agarwal, the Agarwal family’s eldest son and Kundan Agarwal’s biggest hope for his business’ bright future. Manish is a well-educated, ambitious modern-age man who wants to step out of the family business and secure a corporate job. Even if he is a family man and respects his father’s business, somewhere deep down inside, he wants to make a name for himself and earn respect which a decent job could get him. But his father never tries to understand his dreams and aspirations, which led Manish to become a rebel in his family. Having an epileptic brother, shouldering family’s responsibilities, and still pursuing his dreams make Manish a relatable character. “Elaborating further, he says, “I was part of a couple of socio dramas. But this one intrigued me as an actor. This storyline oscillates between the principles and philosophies of Agrasen Maharaja and the current modern understanding of this in the practical world. And how these two converge together, making the show inspiring and a great watch for the viewers.I am looking forward to a new journey with new experiences awaiting my way.”
